Privacy Policy for Snapdrop

Effective date: 27 June 2026

Snapdrop ("the app", "we", "us") lets you send images from your phone directly into a Figma session by pairing with the Snapdrop Figma plugin via a QR code. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and your choices. By using Snapdrop you agree to this policy.

Information we handle

Snapdrop has no user accounts and does not require you to sign in. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or payment information.

How we use this information

Sharing and third parties

Permissions

Data security

Connections between the app and our relay are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/WSS). While no method of transmission is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect data in transit.

Data retention

Images are transient and are not retained by us after the transfer completes. Diagnostic and usage data handled by Firebase is retained according to Google's data-retention policies.

Children's privacy

Snapdrop is a professional design utility intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your choices

You can revoke the Photos or Camera permissions at any time in your device settings (the relevant features will then be unavailable). You may stop all data collection by uninstalling the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
